Wayne Elkin is the new Despatch Manager at REHAU trade fabricator Euroglaze, promoted as part of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement. With 25 years’ experience in the window industry, in a mix of sales, installation, technical and delivery roles, Wayne understands exactly how important it is to get deliveries to customers on time and in full, and is putting in place a series of initiatives to help Euroglaze improve its already excellent performance.

This includes the new online imaging system which records all ancillary packs being filled and sealed before despatch so that customers can be reassured that they have all the right fittings for every job, and barcode scanning of frames at despatch.

Wayne’s promotion comes as a result of a complete systems review carried out at Euroglaze which looked at ways of streamlining the operation to make every department work even more efficiently for customers and identified talented individuals within the business who could implement the changes required.

He said of his new role: “Euroglaze’s delivery team always score highest in our customer satisfaction surveys and I’m looking to build on that with a more efficient service, improved communication and even higher on time in full delivery scores.” Euroglaze is one of the UK’s leading REHAU trade fabricators and currently produces around 900 frames per week for customers across the UK.
